That's very pretty, looks kind of Celtic
Thank you. It's the Celtic Cross of William Pain Weston Norsworthy (that's a mouthful), All Saints Churchyard, Maidenhead Berkshire. Celtic crosses were believed to symbolise everlasting life because the decorations had no begining and no end.
I do like celtic crosses - might even ask for one as my stone when the time comes.
They have a certain 'charm' don't they. Next to angels, celtic crosses are my favourite things to photograph.
