  1. A picture that makes you think - Christina would have been coming up to retirement age now and how different life would have been for her family. Our Mum loves looking at old grave stones (she was a funeral director at one time) but people think she's odd - she thinks people who sit and watch cricket matches are odd but it takes all sorts to make the world go round.

Having young children myself, it always serves to remind me just how lucky I am.

I don't see how looking at and appreciating gravestones and monuments could be any different than appreciating artefacts or artistic sculptures in a museum or gallery. Other people can be so... odd at times :)

  2. Always sad to see a stone for such a young child, but she was obviously much loved. Thank you for sharing this on Taphophile Tragics
