DeleteThey were an immense help during world War Two, many of the them were volunteers. There were many women pilots among their ranks.
I'm a bit late today but I really must get over to All Saints sometime
ReplyDeleteI would wait until spring as it tends to get very wet and boggy at All Saints in the winter.
DeleteI really like this photo. The angle you've taken this makes it seem more poignant somehow.
